A very friendly welcome, coupled with excellent food, comfortable accomodation and a very good bar/restaurant.
We enjoyed our comfortable room with huge windows on both sides overlooking the harbour and waterfront. The dining room also overlooked the water and our dinner was delicious. A sumptuous Irish breakfast was also included. The young lady at the front desk was especially helpful with recommendations and directions around the beautiful town of Kinsale.
The room was very accessible given I need to use a wheelchair most of the time.
As a regular customer I was pleased to see the hotel back in business
The staff attention to detail is excellent. From a warm welcome to sincere good bye's they made our visit a pleasure.
Despite the recent unfortunate events our visit was memorable. It was a treat to wake up to the stunning views.
the night we stayed the room was very cold.we are so lucky that myself and my wife are still alive .poor after care after the trouble the hotel had on the sunday the 9th january.
it was very relaxing and comfortable stay
Great location with views over harbour. Good breakfast range/quality. Restaraunt service varied from excellent to fair. V.g internet access.
Ant noise in the carpark carries at night.
Excellent Hotel in an ideal setting for enjoying the many facilities offered in Kinsale.
staff supremely friendly and helpful - room with a water view was a big plus - restaurant menu majored on fresh sea food which was excellent but loads of other quality dishes as well - phenomenal value and i have promised myself a return visit
Myself and my husband spent our honeymoon in your hotel despite sending an email to inform you and your reception staff who I found cold and not particularly animated nothing was offered not even might I add a drink as a comliment!! As very seasoned travellers we both found this disappointig but as it was such a special time for us we did not want to make a fuss!! As the weather too was bad not your fault we were very disappointed with your service!! One positive point was your breakfast excellent as was your waiting staff perhaps your reception staff could take a leaf out of their book!! After spending over 500 euro we were very disappointed!! Love the view we had also your exutive upgrade well not really what we expected .Kinsale holds wonderful memories over the years for us both as we are together 18 years just expected more from you and your staff on our special time!! Regards Marian and Andy Marshall
Lovely room with a great view of the harbour and boats
It was central and had a great view of the sea
No enough parking spaces for all the rooms available We did get the last one though.
Very relaxing and enjoyable. Food was very good too.
Talking to another couple they told us they got their room for 60euro cheaper than ours and they had a child with them. I had asked for a cheaper quote but was told this was the best price. Iike to get value for money at my age 65. maybe next time we will get better value. I find when booking by fone its a take it or leave it attitude. The odd hotel does accomadate me but not many. Something for all to ponder when we are looking for good value. Thanks Brian Boland
The helpfulness of the staff, they were never too busy. The room was pleasant with a lovely view of the harbour. Very clean. Superb shower. The selection of breakfast was good and the cooked breakfast came exactly as we asked. Relaxed atmosphere. Range of art work by Irish artists. Excellent. Convenient location yet away from the hustle and bustle.
